-Provide instructional services to students under the general supervision of Teachers.-Plan, implement and evaluate instruction and pupil performance as specified (by the IEP where appropriate), for individual and/or groups of students.-Plan and implement specified parts of the daily schedule of topics of the curriculum.-Maintain standards of behavior for students using behavior management techniques which enhance the students’ development toward independence.-Plan and implement remedial instruction when necessary.-Perform various clerical and related duties assigned by the Teacher and Administrator.QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant or ability to become certified
