-BOCES representative for NYS Department of Education activities related to standards, curriculum, assessment, and instruction -Lead implementation of the NYS standards -Lead and facilitate content level expertise workshops -Responsible for development and implementation of curriculum for FEH BOCES -Create stand-alone professional development activities for staff -Work closely with districts in recommending research-based practices, top presenters, current hot topics -Assist in the planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of staff development activities -Maintain and enhance positive relations with component school districts -Coordination of professional learning for FEH BOCES and component school districts -Work with subject area experts and other staff to create high quality resources for FEH BOCES and component school district personnel -Coordinate and develop regional professional learning activities -Coordinate and develop district specific requests for professional learning activities -Assist with data reporting requirements -Work with subject area teacher leaders to enhance collaboration among component districts -On-going development, implementation, and coordination of professional learning -Travel to component districts to plan and deliver professional learning -Other duties as assigned by Assistant Superintendent for Instruction.Qualifications, job description and application can be found online at www.fehb.org/employmentopportunities.
