Special Education Science Teacher 7-12 - Full Year Leave Replacement Start Date: 8/31/2026 Requirements : We are currently looking for a dynamic Special Education Science Teacher with effective collaboration skills, strong work ethic, as well as the ability to motivate students with a love of learning. The chosen candidate must have the following skills and certification: • NYS Certification Students with Disabilities required. Biology 7-12 or Biology Subject Area Extension preferred. Candidates eligible and willing to pursue a NYSED Biology subject area or limited extension are encouraged to apply. • Expertise in developing lessons to meet NYS Standards • Knowledge of web-based tools to support the classroom • Communicates effectively with all members of the school community • The ability to differentiate instruction for all types of learners • Interactive lessons using a myriad of software • Versed in depth of knowledge questioning .
