Location: Harley Avenue Primary School (Grades K-2) Effective: Anticipated September 2026 Description: The Elwood UFSD is seeking a highly qualified/certified reading teacher for a full-time position at the primary school level. Knowledge of the Science of Reading Knowledge of instructional practices to support student development in the areas of Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Reading Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension. Experience administering and analyzing universal screenings Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Candidate should have good interpersonal, written/oral communication, and organizational skills Requirements: Current NYS Certification in Literacy B-6, or equivalent.
