Effective: September 2024Description: The Elwood School District is seeking a highly qualified/certified School Psychologist for the primary school (Grades K-2). The ideal candidate will have experience working with students at the primary level. The following skills are required: Experience in conducting psycho-educational evaluations Experience with school-based counseling for CSE-mandated and non-mandated students Knowledge of Positive Behavioral Intervention Systems Ability to complete evaluations and reports for CSE referrals as well as annual review meetings Communicate regularly with students, parents, faculty, outside agencies, and the Director of Special Education Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students Develop and implement behavior plans Experience with ABA Training in CPI/ SKIP Compensation: In Accordance with the contract between the District and the Elwood Alliance of TeachersRequirements: Current NYS School Psychologist certification required Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification preferreredCandidates representing diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
