The Elwood School District has a vacancy for a Leave Replacement Psychologist beginning April 2023 – June 2023 (Possibility of earlier start date) Description: The Elwood School District is seeking a highly qualified/certified School Psychologist for the secondary school (Grades 9-12). The ideal candidate will have experience working with students at the high school level. The following skills are required: Experience in conducting psycho-educational evaluations Experience with school-based counseling for CSE mandated and nonmandated students Complete evaluations and reports for CSE referrals as well as annual review meetings Communicate regularly with students, parents, faculty, outside agencies and the Director of Special Education Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students Experience with transition planning for students with disabilities Requirements: Current NYS School Psychologist certification required.
