We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our school district as a School Nurse. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for student health and well-being.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to students, including administering medications, treating minor illnesses and injuries, and managing chronic health conditions.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal student health.Maintain accurate and confidential health records.Respond to health emergencies and coordinate emergency response procedures.Qualifications:Absolute Requirements:Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licenseStrong computer skillsExcellent organizational skillsFingerprint clearancePreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of NYS Guidelines for Medication AdministrationFamiliarity with school admission health requirementsExperience with data entry and IHP developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSpanish preferred but not mandatory.
