The Eldred Central School District is looking for an elementary education teacher. George Ross Mackenzie Elementary School is looking for a dynamic and student-centered teacher to serve in a tenure track position as a full time Elementary Teacher beginning September 2023. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:Will have strong behavioral management skills and instructional techniques that foster a healthy and productive academic classroom environment. Will demonstrate the ability to collaborate with colleagues, related service providers, and paraprofessionals. Will be skilled in the delivery of instructional guidance and supervision of paraprofessionals. Will have experience teaching in integrated co-teaching settings. Will have experience teaching in the upper elementary grades. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and deliver daily lesson plans for all instructional periods Keep accurate records of individual student progress throughout the school year. Provide parents with evaluative feedback on student progress. Develop curricula throughout the school year consistent with the class profile and students’ IEPs in collaboration with school administrative staff. REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:NYS Elementary Education, Grades 1-6 The successful candidate must be collaborative and eager to be part of an innovative and dynamic team focused on developing and delivering interdisciplinary special education services for our district’s students.Apply on OLAS
