The Edinburg Common School District, located in upper Saratoga County near the Great Sacandaga Lake, is currently seeking interested applicants to fill a vacancy for a LPN or Registered Nurse. The ideal applicants must have the valid NYS Licensure required for the position and must forward a letter of interest, résumé and copy of the Licensure(s) to www.olasjobs.org. The candidate must also have current CPR/AED (cardiopulmonary resuscitation/automated external defibrillator) certification.Candidates must also possess excellent knowledge of nursing principles and techniques in relation to medical practices, impeccable communication with families, emergency treatment to students, and the knowledge to prepare and maintain health records for school authorities. Knowledge of the federal, state and local guidelines centered around the current pandemic are also key. School nursing experience preferred. This position follows the school calendar.
