The Edinburg Common School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered music teacher to instruct general music classes, as well as band and choir. This position is part-time (2 full days). Candidates must possess New York State Teaching Certification in Music. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for music education and the ability to inspire young musicians. They will also commit to building a strong, inclusive band program that supports students of all experience levels. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:- Teaching elementary general music classes- Providing band instruction to beginning students- Delivering high-quality, standards-based lessons in instrumental music- Organizing and conducting band rehearsals, performances, and (two) concerts throughout the school year- Collaborating with classroom teachers, music colleagues, and building administrator to support student learning and scheduling Please apply through the OLAS website.
