POSITION: High School PrincipalFull Time ProbationaryJOB GOAL: To promote the educational development of each student in a positive, culture of care climate and environment.QUALIFICATIONS: New York State certification and or eligible to be certified as School Building Administrator (SBA) and or; School District Administrator (SDA). At least five years teaching experience at the secondary level;Background/experience in school administration;REPORTS TO: Superintendent of SchoolsPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES HIGHLIGHTS:Able to lead within a professional learning community.Works with a growth mindset that results in a future driven approach to leading.Has a whole learner focus that results in no person being marginalized.Establishes and maintains an effective, safe, positive learning climate in the school.Provides opportunities for students to have ownership of their learning and a voice in their school operations and expectations.
