POSITION: Special Education Teacher Full Time Probationary Appointment QUALIFICATIONS: New York State certified in Special Education required; familiarity with current research, methodology and learning standards in special education. Previous background/ experience working with disabled children desirable. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are examples of typical duties association with the position; but the list is not all inclusive, and other duties appropriate to the position may also be assigned. 1. Delivery of Special Education program; 2. Participation as required and/or able, on building and district curriculum or program committees; 3. Participation in building planning/problem solving efforts as needed or required; 4. Articulation of student program and progress to parents; 5. Other responsibilities as required, to support the educational and professional goals of the district. SALARY RANGE: Per CBA
