The Cooperstown Central School District seeks a dynamic and innovative candidate for Special Education Teacher in the Jr./Sr. High School. Cooperstown Jr./Sr. High School is a dynamic neighborhood school that spans 7-12 with an approximate enrollment of 400 students. We offer rich and varied educational programs and have an active, supportive parent body. The successful candidate will have an expansive knowledge of special education pedagogy, and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with students and faculty whilst maintaining a welcoming and engaging learning space to direct, enhance, and support the learning process. Knowledge of curricular areas is essential in order to serve the interdisciplinary needs of the learning community.
