A regular assigned driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of children on regular assigned routes, uses good judgment in the care of children, and carries out all rules and regulations of the New York State Commissioner of Education, the Public Service Commission, and the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. In addition, follows Cooperstown Board of Education Policy as it pertains. This is manual work of average difficulty requiring skill in the operation of a large automotive vehicle. The operator is responsible for the safety and conduct of the children who are passengers. Work is performed under the supervision of the Head Bus Driver.Apply on OLAS
