A Starting Place is a special education preschool located in Pearl River, NY that cares for children ages 3-5 years old. We are looking for friendly, organized, and adaptable team players that would like to join our family and help make a difference in a child’s early development.The position is for a Part Time NYS licensed Physical Therapist, days and times are flexible. The Physical Therapist will collaborate with all disciplines including OT, Speech, School Counselors, and Teaching staff towards achieving the established goals for each individual.Some responsibilities for our Physical Therapists are to:Provides direct therapy services to students ages 3-5 years old according to the student’s IEP.Keeps daily session logs and notes on each child in their caseload. Completes Progress Reports.Updates Admin of any concerns or modifications needed.Communicates with parents and staff regarding student progress.Maintains professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.Experience: New Grads WelcomeCertifications: Active New York State Physical Therapist LicenseHours are FlexibleJob Type: Part-timePay: $52.00 - $58.00 per hourBenefits:NY Sick Paid Time OffWork Location: In person
