The Argyle Central School District has a vacancy for a full-time, tenure-track elementary school Special Education Teacher effective September 3, 2024. Job responsibilities include:Develop and implement customized IEPs for students with disabilities.Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion and provide necessary accommodations.Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet the unique needs of each student.Serves as a case manager for assigned students.Evaluates and reports on students' progress at designated intervals according to established procedures.Orients students in regard to subject content, goals, and objectives and teaches them in a consistent manner.Provides consultant teaching services to assigned students in accordance with IEP.RequirementsNYS Certification Required: Students with Disabilities 1-6; OR Students with Disabilities (All Grades); Special Education K-12.Please send letter of interest, resume, copies of certifications, copies of transcripts, and three letters of recommendation.
