The Argyle Central School District is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable educational leader for the position of 12-month Elementary Principal (Grades PreK-6).Support social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives to foster student wellness, emotional health, and positive relationships.Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and engaging school culture that supports high expectations for student behavior, achievement, and growth.Facilitate ongoing professional development for staff, ensuring continuous growth and instructional effectiveness.Lead a culture of data-driven instruction to guide instructional decisions and improve student outcomes.Maintains relations with parents, parent groups, school volunteers, and outside agencies.Qualifications:New York State School Building Leader (SBL) or equivalent certification.Experience in school administration or leadership and classroom teaching experience in the elementary is preferred;Strong background in utilizing data-driven practices to inform instructional decisions and improve student achievement.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.To apply for this position, please attach the following materials to your OLAS application: Updated resume with cover letter to James Bennefield, Superintendent, copies of current certifications, college transcripts, three (3) letters of recommendation.
