The successful candidate will possess a passion for teaching and learning and be responsible for:establishing and maintaining positive, respectful, and supportive relationships with students and staffdesigning lessons and materials for standalone instruction that support grade-level classroom contentcreating lessons that provide students with opportunities for creative thought and problem-solving while enhancing their communication skillsproviding tailored, hands-on instruction to standalone classescollaborating with the classroom teacher to best support English Language Learnersmonitoring students’ performance and growthintegrating ENL methodologies, techniques, and strategies that support students’ learning and communication in both small class and large class environmentsMust have valid NYS ENL Certification and NYS K-12 Fingerprint Clearance
