Technology Teacher ProbationaryMiddle School Technology The Wantagh UFSD is seeking a dynamic, engaging, and out of the box Technology teacher to fill a tenure track position in our Middle School.Qualifications:High proficiency in Career and Technical Education Standards and the New York State Science Learning Standards, with a focus on the Engineering Performance Expectations, and how they apply to Intermediate technology.Deep understanding on the engineering process and how it applies to every aspect of education.Deep understanding on how to encourage perseverance and understand that “mistakes are where the learning begins.”High proficiency in differentiated instruction and technology implementation.Career and Technical Education (CTE) certification.Understanding of Project Lead the Way programs.Essential Functions:Developing and implementing differentiated technology lessons that are consistent with school district goals and vision.Promoting a positive classroom environment that focuses on student-centered and student-driven learning experiences.Supporting the social emotional well-being of students.Integrating various technology platforms into daily instructional practices.
