Upon completion of the leave position, the successful candidate will serve as a permanent substitute for the remainder of the year. The leave replacement teacher will:Develop and administer social studies educational curriculum that is consistent with school district goals and visionPromote a positive classroom environment that focuses on student-centered and student-driven learning experiencesCollaborate with other educators in the department and within the building to craft lessons, create assessments, and deliver contentIntegrate various technology platforms into daily instructional practiceMaintain organized records of student dataEngage and inspire all learnersEstablish a classroom culture that promotes sophisticated thinking and learning.NYS Social Studies 7-12 Certification
