Number of Positions: 1Salary: $70,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experienceLocation: Myers Administrative Building, Saratoga SpringsWork Hours: M-F 8AM - 4PMThis position is the point of contact for Instructional Data and the U.S. Office for Civil Rights. The work involves the responsibility for the submission of information to the various data repositories including demographics, enrollment, program services, assessments, courses, attendance, and grades to completed in collaboration with the the Director for Exceptional Learners and Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE). Incumbents set-up systems and monitor School Tool records for accuracy of data, and updates information as needed. Incumbent is familiar with all Frontline products. Duties also include but are not limited to Professional Development (PD) Reports, Enrollment Reports & Projections, Surveys, Assessment Data, management of needs assessments and data for grant application, and Data Analysis for programs. Performs other duties as required.Collaborates with instructors on data reports and relation to classroom instruction;Collects and verifies 3-8 Assessment Roster Reports including New York State Alternate Assessment (NYSAA) data and updates Data Warehouse records;Facilitates the collection and analysis of data for such tasks as needs assessments, state reapproval and grant applications;Submits information to the various data repositories;Submits information to the various data repositories;Oversees the setup of Student Management Systems and security permissions, manages users and records for accuracy of data;Assists staff with requests in the use of student management systems, including troubleshooting issues;Manages online curriculum and software systems and runs reports for instructional purposes;Corrects data warehouse errors in source systems;Maintains records of retention, graduation, and drop-out rate statistics for CTE and Exceptional Learners Division (ELD);Completes annual metrics for programs;Assists with program creation and reapproval processes;Develops, administers, interprets data from surveys;Provides data as requested for various projects;Attends regional meetings as appropriate, i.e., Northeastern Regional Information Center (NERIC) Data Warehousing;Updates student Program Service records in School Tool (Limited English Proficient/English Language Learner (LEP/ELL), Individualized Education Plan (IEP), Section 504, Targeted Assistance);Communicates State Education Department and NERIC directives to leadership;Collects and submits district data for U.S. Education Office of Civil Rights;Submits PD-6 Report of Personnel Employed or contracted to provide Special Education to the Business Portal;Submits PD-8 Report of Students with Disabilities subject of disciplinary removal related services to students with disabilities to the districts;Reviews and verifies Special Education reports from PD system;Reviews and verifies Accountability reports;Presents data to district stakeholders.Minimum Qualifications:Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in a Data reporting field; ORGraduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered two-year college with an Associate degree and four (4) years of experience in a Data reporting field.Note: Vacancies are filled by a certified list provided by Washington County Civil Service. Should no certified list be available, candidates appointed to this position will be serving in a provisional appointment in accordance with New York State Civil Service Law. The candidate must successfully complete a competitive examination and be eligible for appointment in accordance with Civil Service Law and the Civil Service Rules for Washington County to obtain a permanent appointment.
