Variety Child Learning Center (VCLC) is a not-for-profit agency providing quality educational and therapeutic services to young children with disabilities. We are currently accepting applications for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BCBA will work collaboratively with our educational staff providing guidance and support using the principals of ABA to promote best outcomes for our students.Job Responsibilities:The Behavior Analyst will play a crucial role in improving the educational experience and outcomes of students with behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities. Work collaboratively with educational staff providing guidance and support using the principles of Applied Behavior AnalysisConduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to analyze challenging behaviors and determine their underlying causes. Develop comprehensive, individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on the results of the FBAs, report on progress and conduct fidelity checks to ensure that BIPs are being implemented correctly. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIPs and make necessary adjustments as needed.Conduct staff training workshops on behavior management and ABA principles. Provide ongoing training and guidance to teachers and Teacher Aides/Assistants, Education Coordinators and other school staff on ABA techniques and strategies.Collaborate with Teachers, Education Coordinators, other administrators, and other school staff to ensure consistent implementation of behavior support strategies and instructional programmingReivew and analyze data on student behavior as requested supporting both ABA and non- ABA designated classrooms. Collaborate with the school’s multidisciplinary TEAMs to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting students with behavioral challenges.Participate in team meetings, parent meetings and CPSE meetings as needed.Required Education and Experience:Valid certification as a Board-Certified Behavior AnalystMaster’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related fieldExperience working with young students with developmental disabilities and behavior challenges in a school settingStrong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.Proficiency in data collection and analysisThis is a full-time, benefit eligible position. Hours are 8:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday, VCLC operates 12 months
