Reported Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM Essential Duties and Responsibilities Daily Cleaning and Sanitizing of Restrooms, Classrooms, Offices, and Common Areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floorsClean and disinfect toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitionsEmpty trash and recycling bins and replace linersRefill soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensersEnsure classrooms and offices are clean and organizedFacility Readiness and Event Setup Set up and break down tables, chairs, stages, and equipment for school eventsArrange furniture for meetings, testing, or special programsRespond to last-minute room use changes as neededSecurity and Building Lock-Up Open and close buildings, secure all doors and windowsMonitor building entry points during off-hours or special eventsReport suspicious activity or security concerns to the appropriate authoritySpecial Projects and Seasonal Cleaning Strip and wax floors, clean carpets, wash windows, and deep-clean during breaksAssist with summer cleaning and furniture movingParticipate in district-wide cleaning initiatives or inspectionsHealth & Safety Compliance Use cleaning agents and equipment according to safety guidelinesFollow protocols for bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluid cleanupParticipate in safety training and emergency drillsStore supplies properly Routine Maintenance Support Replace light bulbs and minor repairs (door handles, pencil sharpeners, etc.)Report more serious maintenance issues to custodial supervisor or maintenance teamClear snow and ice from entrances (with proper equipment)
