2024 Summer School VacanciesTuckahoe High SchoolSummer School TeachersNeeded: HS Science HS ELA HS Math Social StudiesTuckahoe High School is seeking certified teachers in the areas of English, Science, and Math for our summer school program. The program will run from Monday, July 10, 2024, through Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Teachers will support students as they complete the credit recovery program remotely while directly teaching skills in-person to help students prepare for their Regents exams.Responsibilities: Provide instruction in English, Science, or Math. Support students in completing their credit recovery coursework. Teach essential skills to help students succeed in their Regents exams. Monitor student progress and provide feedback. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in English, Science, or Math. Experience with remote teaching is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and engage students in a virtual learning environment.
