New York State Library Media Specialist certification is required.The Library Media Specialist at Tuckahoe plays a crucial role in connecting our students and staff to vast amounts of information available worldwide. The Library Media Specialist helps shape the learning experiences of our diverse student body by leveraging their expertise in library resources, research skills, and educational technology. By fostering a love for reading, promoting information literacy, and nurturing critical thinking abilities, the Library Media Specialist will contribute to the intellectual growth and academic success of our students.
