TITLE: REGIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL EDMENTUM PROGRAM HEAD TEACHER (up to 3 positions) Location: TST BOCES Campus, 555 Warren Road, Ithaca, NY Program Dates: July 9, 2026-August 20, 2026 RESPONSIBILITIES: The lead teachers will coordinate and monitor the Edmentum program to best meet the needs of all of the individual students. The lead teachers will communicate with parents and school districts including program progress and intervention, when necessary. Will perform all other tasks related to the smooth operations of the Regional Summer School Edmentum Program (grades 9-12). QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Teaching Certification (preferably at the secondary level). At least 3 years of successful teaching experience is required. Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong work ethic. Ability to establish rapport and professional relationships with, and support and motivate secondary level students, parents, and staff. Teacher must be collaborative, student centered and a creative and effective problem solver.
