TITLE: REGIONAL ESY (Extended School Year) SUMMER SCHOOL TEACHING POSITIONS REGIONAL ESY (Extended School Year) SUMMER SCHOOL THERAPIST POSITIONS Location: TST BOCES, Smith School 5 days per week / Half days from July 9 – August 19, 2026 AREAS OF CERTIFIED TEACHING NEEDED: Special Education Teachers Speech Therapists Registered Occupational Therapists (Apply on-line at https://www.tompkinscivilservice.org/civilservice/vacancies ) Physical Education Teacher (up to 8 hrs/week) Teacher of the Visually Impaired (up to 10 hrs/week) DUTIES: Provide summer school instruction and related services to special education students. Summer classes will be held for students with disabilities, ages 5-22 years, who have been recommended by the Committee on Special Education according to the State Education Department guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certification in subject area in which to be appointed.
