TITLE: World Language Teacher (7-12) Certified PositionFull-time, 10-Month Position Affiliation: Teacher’s Association Exceptional & Alternative Education Location: Smith SchoolJob Description: Responsible for teaching a secondary World Language to students, grades 7–12, in an alternative and exceptional educational setting at the TST BOCES Smith School. Instruction including Regents courses will be consistent with NYS standards for languages other than English. Development and administration of appropriate assessments of student performance, and maintenance of appropriate student records required. Must be flexible and able to work as a member of a team. Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold New York State Teacher Certification Grades 7-12 in a World Language other than EnglishSTART DATE: September 5, 2023SALARY: $52,000.00 (2023-2024 base salary), plus additional salary credit for appropriate prior experience, Masters Degree and Grad Credits.
