TITLE: School Social Worker Certified Position Full Time, 10-month position Affiliation: Teachers’ Association School Social Worker Location: TST BOCES Campus DUTIES: This school social worker position works collaboratively with various educational teams to support students with special needs in a BOCES self-contained setting. Provide, as appropriate, individual and group counseling, provide crisis management, participate in team meetings, provide training/support as needed, assist with the creation and implementation of FBAs/BIPs, develop and implement IEP goals, participate in CSE meetings and work with students, families, and agencies in planning for student transition to adulthood. Perform other duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certification as a School Social Worker is required. Additional Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred. Will also consider NY State License LMSW or LCSW with active application for school social worker.START DATE: October 17, 2022 or as soon as possible SALARY: $50,000.00 (2022-2023 base salary), plus additional salary credit for appropriate prior experience, Masters Degree and Grad Credits.
