Certified Position, Full Time, 10-month position, Affiliation: Teachers’ Association, Regional Alternative School Location: TST BOCES Campus, Regional Alternative School, 555 Warren Road, Ithaca, NYDUTIES: Responsible for working collaboratively with high school teachers and staff, community agencies and families to support students in grades 9-12 at the Regional Alternative School. Provides individual counseling, conflict mediation and crisis management, coordinates community services/supports, participates in faculty, CSE and Student Study Team meetings, assists with the creation of FBAs/BIPs, develops and implements and monitors IEP goals, provide training/support, conducts home visits and social history interviews as needed, and work with students, families, and agencies in planning for student transition to college or the workforce. Perform other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certification as a School Social Worker is required. Additional Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred. Will also consider NY State License LMSW or LCSW with active application for school social worker.START DATE: September 6, 2022SALARY: $50,000.00 (2022-2023 base salary), plus additional salary credit for appropriate prior experience, Master’s Degree and Grad Credits.
