TITLE: Instructional Supervisor of P-Tech High School (Principal) Certified PositionFull-time, 12-month position Administrative ContractP-Tech Academy Location: TC3 Campus, Dryden, NY We are currently seeking a Principal to lead our P-Tech high school, located within TC3, toward enhanced academic excellence. Our STEAM institution prioritizes preparing students for the workforce through specialized pathways, including Applied Science and Technology (with a focus on advanced manufacturing), Computer Information Systems and Computer Support Specialist programs. We are currently in the process of introducing additional pathways. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in project-based learning, demonstrate instructional leadership capabilities, exhibit systematic thinking skills, and demonstrate the ability to foster collaborative teamwork in alignment with our P-TECH vision. Effective collaboration with community stakeholders, particularly our higher education partners at TC3, is imperative for success in this role. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, leading, and managing all aspects of the school in a collaborative manner. JOB DUTIES:Lead and guide staff to cultivate communication and collaboration, overseeing approximately 15 faculty/staff and 70 students with potential to grow.Drive the implementation and advancement of the P-TECH vision, ensuring alignment with school objectives.Facilitate high-quality, hands-on learning experiences.Engage staff in collaborative endeavors.Ensure compliance with all high school requirements, in collaboration with the school counselor.Serve as the primary liaison for the state education department for P-TECH initiativesManage fiscal aspects of the program, including budget oversight.Lead recruitment efforts for both staff and students.Build and nurture relationships with business partners, community agencies, employers, and organizations to support the school's objectives and enhance its impact.QUALIFICATIONS: NYS School Administrative Certification (SAS, SDA) is required. Previous successful administrative experience is desirable. Applicants with traditional K-12 experience are encouraged to apply.
