The Spencer-Van Etten Central School District is hiring a long-term substitute Physical Education Teacher. This position, under the general supervision of the school principal, will create and maintain an educational atmosphere that encourages effective student learning and supports school and district programs and goals. Will facilitate student learning and growth in athletic and interpersonal skills through implementing district approved curriculum; development of lesson plans and assessments, document teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; address specific needs of individual students through differentiation and create a flexible, safe, and optimal learning environment; and provide feedback to students, parents and administration through on-going grade documentation regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.Full benefits package including health insurance (or buyout), flex account, paid sick and personal time.
