TWO (2) FULL-TIME, 12-MONTH POSITIONS AVAILABLEMAINTENANCE MECHANIC IIIFACILITIES DEPARTMENTEFFECTIVE: MARCH 2026HOURS: Night Shift (may be required to work Day Shift during summer, school break periods, and emergencies)One (1) Position: Monday - Friday One (1) Position: Tuesday - Saturday REQUIRED: Experienced Painter, Carpentry (Electric and/or Plumbing a plus)DUTIES:Painting and Carpentry Skilled mechanic across multiple trades with strong knowledge of the proper use, care, and maintenance of tools, materials, and equipment.Demonstrate proficiency as a skilled mechanic in major trades, with thorough knowledge of tools, materials, and equipment and their proper use and care.Independently assess job requirements and determine appropriate materials, methods, and procedures for each assignment.Contribute to all stages of project execution, from initial planning and coordination through implementation and final completion.QUALIFICATIONS: Either:One (1) year of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic IIFour (4) years of experiences in building maintenance or trades, (2) of which involved skilled trades workNECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:Depending on the nature of the assignment, at this time of appointment and during employment in the title, candidates may be required to possess a valid New York State’s driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle to be operated.SALARY: $81,636
