FULL-TIME NON-INSTRUCTIONAL POSITION AVAILABLEHEAD COOKDISTRICTWIDEEFFECTIVE: SEPTEMBER 2024HOURS: 6:00am - 2:00pm ( 1/2 hr. unpaid lunch)RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing kitchen with a minimum of direct supervision; Supervisingfood service workers in kitchen and serving areas; assigning personnel toindividual tasks, work stations and equipment; writing a daily work plan,preparing meals.Responsible for ordering and tracking inventory in the kitchen.Must learn POS systems. Will ultimately be responsible for countingand collection of all monies. Required to attend monthly/bimonthlylead chef meetings.QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to plan, coordinate and supervise food service personnel.Ability to keep accurate records and make reports. Must have knowledgeof daily food requirements and “portion control”; should have full knowledgeof all jobs under his/her directive.Must obtain a Food Manager’s Certificate and have experience in thepreparation of food for a commercial establishment.SALARY: $30.49/hr.
