Grounds Supervisor The Skaneateles Central School District is centered on Skaneateles Lake. The Skaneateles Central School District invites candidates to apply for the Grounds Supervisor position. Description:Supervises a number of subordinate employees in the development and maintenance of grounds, horticultural displays and various site changes such as walkways, parking lots, athletic fields, picnic areas and recreation areasSupervises the maintenance of lawns, plowing (snow removal), trees, shrubs, gardens, sidewalks, athletic fields (goals, field lines) and traffic control signsResponsible for planting, cultivating, pruning and general care of plants, flowers, shrubs and lawnsMove equipment to and from storage and responsible for the disposal construction debris and obsolete materials. Grounds supervisor will be in charge of all exterior items (windows, walls, flags)Miscellaneous - plan daily work schedules and long range schedules for grounds crew. Prepare budget requests as to personnel, equipment and supplies.
