SCHOOL NURSE (FLOATER)FULL-TIMEEffective Date: August 30, 2022 *Salary per contractRN NYS License required, BLS certified Experience with school aged children preferred.Knowledgeable of CDC, OHSA, NYSDOH guidelines as they pertain to COVID -19.Maintain record and performs screenings as per N.Y.S guidelines.Provides basic healthcare and first aid to students that are ill, medically fragile and/or injured.Provides treatment, documents injuries and maintains ongoing student medical records.Administers daily medications.Knowledgeable of diabetic care in a school setting.Must have superior nursing skills to include experience in emergency procedures, anaphylaxis, injuries and general triage.Must be highly skilled communicator, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.Must be collaborative in nature and contribute to the health and well being of the school community.
