VACANCY - PLEASE POST The Seaford Union Free School District has the following opening: 1:1 SCHOOL NURSE FULL-TIME Effective Date: August 26, 2026 *Starting Salary $65,306 RN NYS License required, BLS certified Experience with school aged children, including students with disabilities preferred. Position can be on campus or off-site Knowledgeable of CDC, OHSA, NYSDOH guidelines as they pertain to disease and or illness including COVID. Maintains records and performs screenings as per N.Y.S guidelines. Provides basic healthcare and first aid to students that are ill, medically fragile and/or injured. Provides treatment, documents injuries and maintains ongoing student medical records. Administers daily medications. Knowledgeable of diabetic care and seizure protocol in a school setting. Must have superior nursing skills to include experience in emergency procedures, anaphylaxis, injuries and general triage. Must be highly skilled communicator, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be collaborative in nature and contribute to the health and well being of the school community. Riding bus daily in AM and PM with select students. NOTE: Building assignment and work schedule are at the discretion of the administrative staff and can be changed to meet the staffing needs of the district.
