Requirements: Supervises children on a serving line in a lunchroom, helps them find seats, and maintains order: may clean up spilled milk and take cash; supervises children in playground area, seeing that equipment is used properly and no accidents occur; supervises children in the all-purpose room, maintaining order and reporting cases of misbehavior to the proper authority; may assist children in lower grades with wearing apparel; may assist lower grade teachers in taking attendance and in any way not calling for direct teaching supervision. Requires ability to read and write; maturity; experience with children desirable.Duties: Good general intelligence; ability to be firm yet courteous with the public; ability to get along well with children; some knowledge of first aid methods; good powers of observation; good physical condition.Salary: Terms and agreement of employment per CSEA/Roosevelt Paraprofessionals Agreement
