POSITION AVAILABLE SEPTEMBER 2024.Behavioral Therapist.Required NYS Certifications: Candidate must possess appropriate NYSED Certification and be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Experience working with students with autism, developmental delays, and attentional deficit concerns. Responsibilities of the BCBA: Work collaboratively with the team to address the needs of students with behavioral concernsMeet with staff to observe and assess student behaviorConduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) Develop Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP) Meet with families, teachers, clinicians, and/or administrators to address student concernsExperience with crisis interventionAttend CSE Meetings Monitor and evaluate student progress through accurate data collection and analysis Develop goals and provide behavioral consultations for IEP mandated studentsStrong knowledge of special education laws and regulations SALARY: Salary commensurate with experiencePursuant to RTA Collective Bargaining Agreement and District Policy.apply for this POSITION by completing a cover letter,resume and application.The Roosevelt UFSD is an equal opportunity employer.
