The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk CSD announces an anticipated vacancy for a full-time probationary Director of Athletics, Physical Education, Health and Wellness. This position has direct responsibility for the District’s athletic, physical education, health education and health office departments, including curriculum and instruction, training, staff supervision and evaluation, staff selection, athletic facility management, budget preparation and student, parent and community relations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise, evaluate and work collaboratively with the PK-12 Physical Education and Health teacher and Health Office staff.Develop the annual budget requirements and recommendations for the physical education, health education and health office programs.Attend, implement, coordinate and evaluate the District’s Athletics programs with high standards for all staff and students.Organize, administer, supervise and evaluate all aspects of interscholastic athletics. This includes the recruitment, supervision and evaluation of staff to ensure a program of distinction and high standards and expectations.Attend and/or coordinate regular meetings with local athletic organizations and act as the district liaison.Assure that all staff involved in interscholastic athletics meet the standards and requirements of the District, the New York State Education Department and other agencies.Develop the annual budget requirements and recommendations for the District’s interscholastic athletics programs and the physical education, health education and family and consumer science programs.Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent. Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 (based on experience). Estimated start date 10/1/25. Professional Requirements:Qualified applicants must have New York State Certi?cation as a School District Administrator or School District Leader and New York State Certification in Physical Education and/or Health.
