Ravena- Coeymans- Selkirk Middle School seeks a dynamic educator to fill an English Language Arts position in the fall of 2024.Certification in ELA 7-12 or ELA 5-9 extension. Successful candidates will have a passion for learning, commitment to excellence, create an engaging classroom, and utilize various teaching strategies including but not limited to project based learning, flipped classroom models, and student led discussion. Additionally, being able to provide academic and behavioral support using a multi-tiered approach (RTI, PBIS, etc.) is preferred. Candidates are expected to be able to create a learning environment that is orderly and productive during class sessions as well as maintain communication with families, other faculty members, administration and students regarding achievement and the learning environment. QUALIFICATIONS: ELA 7-12 or ELA 5-9 extension
