DESCRIPTION: RCS is looking for a dynamic Elementary Physical Education and Health Teacherwho is passionate about teaching and learning, creative and engaging in the classroom, and dedicated tohelping all students succeed. Candidates should be innovative in practice, have a strong value in theschool community, and have vision in preparing our students to be civic-minded. Successful candidatesshould be able to teach Physical Education and Health. Candidate will be expected to:- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to provide an orderly classroomenvironment- Engage students in the learning process and excite them about college and career possibilities- Provide both academic and behavioral support using a multi-tiered approach (ie. RtI, PBIS)- Communicate with families, other school staff, school administration, and students on studentprogress- Create pathways for students to be career and community aware; promoting a strong sense of civic mindedness.QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Physical Education Pre K-12 Teacher certification.
