RCS is looking for a dynamic school psychologist who is passionate about teaching and learning, and dedicated to helping all students succeed. Candidates should be innovative in practice, have a strong value in the “school community,” and have vision in preparing our students to be civic-minded. Successful candidates will be expected to:Universal Pre-K /CPSE Work:Oversee and perform all aspects of preschool psychological testing including psychological evaluations, administering psychological tests, interpreting and applying findings and making recommendations in CPSE and CPSE. (Travel will be required to complete Preschool Evaluations) Act as the Committee on Preschool Special Education Chairperson. Assist with the implementation of a MTSS framework in the UPK program - including providing professional development and assistance coordinating behavior, academic, and social-emotional prevention and interventions.Elementary Psychologist Work:Provide support, oversight and fulfill psychologist duties to the elementary self-contained classrooms. Including: Oversee and perform all aspects of psychological testing including psychological evaluations, administering psychological tests, interpreting and applying findings and making recommendations in CSE. Conduct Functional Behavior Assessment and develop Behavioral Intervention Plans, skills assessments and develop skill acquisition treatment plansAttend and sometimes facilitate Committee on Special Education Meetings for studentsWork in conjunction with the self-contained team to provide consultation and strategies for academic, social-emotional, and behavioral support.
