RCS is seeking a qualified School Counselor to fill a short-term leave (approx. 4/26/24 – 6/30/24). The successful candidate must demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for working with high school students. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Working collaboratively with instructional staff and leadership.Cultivating a high-quality education for students. Assist students with college and career planning.Participating in planning to provide a comprehensive school counseling program to ensure every student’s academic needs are met.Develop strategies to support students’ academic achievement and personal/social development so that students may engage in challenge and growth.Experience in scheduling is preferred.Experience in CDOS, CTE, career-related programming and implementing the ASCA model and framework preferred.Qualified candidates must have NYS School Counselor Certification.
