: RCS is looking for a dynamic 7-12 Math Teacher (Short-Term Substitute) who is passionate about teaching andlearning, creative and engaging in the classroom, and dedicated to helping all students succeed. Candidates should beinnovative in practice, have a strong value in “school community,” and have vision in preparing our students to becivic-minded. Successful candidates should be able to teach algebra and algebra II.Candidate will be expected to:Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to provide an orderly classroom environmentEngage students in the learning process and excite them about college and career possibilitiesProvide both academic and behavioral support using a multi-tiered approach (ie. RtI, PBIS) Communicate with families, other school staff, school administration, and students on student progressCreate pathways for students to be career and community aware; promoting a strong sense of civic mindedness. Utilize Google classroom.
