We are currently hiring for Teacher Assistants and Special Education TeachersQSAC will be hosting an in person event with Hiring Managers that will give you the opportunity to receive employment decisions the same day. It will take place on 8.19.22 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at our Whitestone Day School.Regular work hours at the Whitestone Day School is from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Mon - Friday ( 1/2 hour lunch). As a requirement of this position, you must obtain your TA-1 Certification within the first 4 months of employment. After successful completion of this certification, your rate will be adjusted to $18.00 USD Hourly.Special Education Teacher: Special Education Teachers require NY State certification (Students with Disabilities 1-6 ). Teaching responsibilities include implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP), classroom management, participation in annual meetings, and completion of required reports.
