Job Brief: Director of ABA Training is responsible for providing training and resources across QSAC’s preschool & school-age programs for children with autism. The training director will train education & related services staff including Teachers, Therapists, & Teaching Assistants.The salary range for this position is $85k-$110k annually commensurate with experience and educationThis position requires travel to our Whitestone, Douglaston, and Bronx School locations.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESProvide resources such as information and assistance with implementing evidence-based staff training, training materials, training management systems and hands on training to education staff in both school age and preschool programsOversee and manage all QSAC continuing education (CEU) events for behavior analysts as the Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) CoordinatorOversee, manage and monitor the development and progress of the QSAC BCBA Leadership Committee with regard to in-house CE events and overall planning/structureOversee, manage and monitor the development of school wide evidence-based training materials In coordination with the school's site directors the Director of ABA Training Development will:Develop/oversee staff training/staff evaluations/ lectures and hands on training(s)Hold clinical supervisor/staff trainer meetingsMonitor implementation of training protocols across school program sites to ensure consistencyTrack the training and development of staff across programs to ensure consistencyMonitor and conduct staff development related to aboveDevelop and implement FBAs and BIPsProvide hands on training to all instructional staff as needed in the education programs MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree in related field.Board Certified Behavior Analyst.Two-three years training experience in Applied Behavior Analysis.Ability to run.Ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights & 20 lb items.Clearance through state mandated Background/Fingerprint Check(s).Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served.Strong organizational skills.
