We are looking for a detail oriented and enthusiastic IEP Coordinator to assist in the development and implementation of IEPs across multiple age and ability ranges. Will also assist in the design and maintenance of a structured learning environment as well as support educational staff in the implementation of applied behavior analysis to the school setting.We provide extensive support, training and opportunities for growth both professionally and within the agency.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Receive and review all Individualized Education Plan /Central Base Support Team (IEP/CBST) packets/referrals for placement across all center based educational programs for accuracy/completion/appropriateness upon receipt from Committee Preschool Education (CPSE/CSE)Participate in student intake process and ensure regular communication with district administrators/referral sourcesEnsure each teacher implements and manages IEP review and IEPs receiptsProvide IEP related training to teachers and assistants/aidesDevelop professional clinical competency through attendance/participation in staff meetings, workshops and conferencesParticipate in IEP meetings, as neededProvide ongoing communication with families as related to IEP development/referral for placementProvide regular communication with classroom and administrative staff regarding submission of reports/components of IEP mandates and requirementsAttend/participate/develop classroom and or school-wide trainingReview Student Quarterly reportsEnsure receipt of progress reports from classroom teachers and related service providers.Oversee dissemination of progress reports to home/districtQualifications and Work ExperienceVaccination requiredMaster’s in Special Education or related fieldSAS/SBL/SDA or equivalent preferredPossess and maintain Board Certified Behavior Analyst Credentials (BCBA) analyst in good standing highly preferred2-3 years training experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)MissionQSAC is a New York City and Long Island based nonprofit that supports children and adults with autism, together with their families, in achieving greater independence, realizing their future potential, and contributing to their communities in a meaningful way by offering person-centered services.
