SECONDARY MATH TEACHER – PROBATIONARY 2026-2027 The Plainview-Old Bethpage Mathematics Department is seeking a highly dedicated and collaborative educator to join our team as a Full Time Secondary Mathematics Teacher. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to inspire and engage students while fostering a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment. We are looking for a dynamic teacher who is committed to student success, instructional excellence, and professional growth within our department. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the New York State Next Generation Mathematics Learning Standards. - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning for a diverse group of students. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices. - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student growth. Key Qualifications: - Motivated and passionate about teaching mathematics. - Previous experience teaching high school mathematics preferred. - Strong understanding of secondary-level mathematics curriculum and instructional strategies. - Ability to teach Computer Science courses; New York State Computer Science certification preferred.
