ANTICIPATED OPENING 2025-2026MATHEMATICS TEACHER-PROBATIONARYThe Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District’s Mathematics Department is seeking a highly dedicated and collaborative educator to join our team as a Probationary Secondary Mathematics Teacher. This is a full time position with the opportunity to inspire and engage students while fostering a positive, inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment. We are looking for a dynamic teacher who is committee to student success, instructional excellence, and professional growth within our department.Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with The New York State Next Generation Mathematics Learning Standards.- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning for a diverse group of students.- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and shared best practices.- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and collogues.Key Qualifications: - Motivated and passionate about teaching mathematics.- Previous experience teaching middle school math is preferred.- Strong understanding of middle school curriculum and instructional strategies.Requirements: - New York State teaching certification in Mathematics 7-12.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
